So how worried are the Oilers that Nikolai Khabibulin will be in a cage rather than guarding one when the regular season rolls around?

The Edmonton Oilers have avoided another salary arbitration hearing.
On Saturday, the club announced they had come to terms with goaltender Jeff Deslauriers on a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 26 year old native of St-Jean-Richelieu, Que., was scheduled to have an arbitration hearing in Toronto on Wednesday.
He was one of three Oilers to file for arbitration, all of which have signed, therefore avoiding a hearing.
J.F. Jacques and Gilbert Brule also came to terms with the Oilers.
