The Edmonton Oilers have avoided another salary arbitration hearing.
On Saturday, the club announced they had come to terms with goaltender Jeff Deslauriers on a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 26 year old native of St-Jean-Richelieu, Que., was scheduled to have an arbitration hearing in Toronto on Wednesday.
He was one of three Oilers to file for arbitration, all of which have signed, therefore avoiding a hearing.
J.F. Jacques and Gilbert Brule also came to terms with the Oilers.
